Surplus M8 motorway land will be identified and then sold

According to Mr McEvoy, such land would only be of use to the adjoining landowner and he would expect that they would make a bid. “Any landowner with a query could go to an officer in the council”.

Meanwhile 79 landowners whose land was required for the new M8 Cashel to Mitchelstown road have yet to reach agreement in relation to compulsory purchase orders on their land.
