A TRAINING initiative worth €300,000 has been launched for 273 farm relief services employees.

Training initiative

The FRS Skillnet initiative will raise professional standards and encourage diversification and innovation, said Peter Byrne, CEO of National Co-op Farm Relief Services. It is funded from the National Training Fund.

The farmer-owned Farm Relief Services organisation offers services in farming, fencing, health and safety, training and recruitment, and places foreign workers.
