CLOSE to the de Valera homestead in Bruree, a non-residential 81-acre holding with 42,000 gallons of milk quota is on the market with auctioneer Liam Mullins for offers in the region of €1.4 million.

The farm, in four divisions, is prime limestone ground.

nThe same agent is inviting final offers for a 24-acre, 28,000 gallon holding at Glenville, Co Cork, with the quota available this year. The guide is €370,000.

nA further 12.5 acres with 16,800 gallons at Rathcoole Mallow, Co Cork is on offers at €200,000.
