Gelding is Dungarvan champion ridden hunter

A FOUR-year-old brown gelding was the champion ridden hunter at Dungarvan Show for Co Limerick exhibitor Abbie Shannon. Binders’ Cove, a lightweight hunter, is by Colin Diamond out of Madonna Hill.

The reserve rosette went to Golden Bud, a four-year-old chestnut gelding by Carrabawn View, exhibited by Patrick Cotter.

Claire Connors took the working hunter championship with Bally Lough, a seven-year-old brown mare by Moroto. JJ Bowe won the young horse, three-year-old and filly championships with a three-year-old by Ghareeb Sky.
