Auction sale of equestrian property exceeds guide price by €0.9m

WATERFORD’S Pallas House, trailing a long equestrian history, has been sold at auction for €2.9 million.

The buyer of the period home on 32 acres was a young Waterford man with computer business interests, who saw off challenges from local, Irish and international bidders in the Michael H Daniels auction last week.

The original price guide was €2 million.
