Demand exceeds supply for Glanbia product in China

GLANBIA has reported demand exceeding supply for its heat-stable protein products in China.

The company opened an office in Shanghai a year ago. China is seen as the major new territory for global sales expansion by the dairy industry, and Glanbia has found many food manufacturer customers for its high value heat-stable whey protein concentrate.

Only such products can resist the high level of heat treatment used in China to counter low safety standards.
