Rothwell takes young horse championship
It was the second major win of the season for the bay filly, also successful at Balmoral Show in Belfast.
The half bred by Porche out of Flowing River looks destined to have a rewarding time on the circuit for Rothwell, a strong supporter of shows north and south.
Kieran Fahy, Enniskeane, Co Cork, showed the reserve young horse champion at Midleton, where there was a splendid entry of 305 in the highly competitive classes.
Marie Symington, c/o Joan Aherne, Carhue, Bandon, took the champion ridden hunter honours with Con O’Leary, c/o Ann O’Grady, Newcastlewest, Co Limerick, showing the reserve.
