O'Sullivans win double at Charleville

BANDON cattle exhibitors David and Michael O'Sullivan continued on their championships winning ways at Charleville Agricultural Show last weekend by bringing off a spectacular double with their superb cow, Cradenhill St Fame.

The five-year-old, bred by Peter Kingston, Nohoval, Co Cork, defeated seven other top contenders to win the Maverick All Ireland Junior Friesian cow championship.

Bought as a calf by Michael O'Sullivan, the second calver has so far this season won the championships at Bandon and Clonakilty and was reserve champion at the north eastern spring fair at Punchestown earlier in the year.
