Ballybride farm complete with 50,0000 gallon quota

THE sale of a dairy farm at Ballybride, Conna, Co Cork was hit by uncertainty in the market in late spring of last year, and it is being re-launched on the market by Michael Barry of Dick Barry Property Partners.

He says farmers didn’t know which way to jump last year, with the Fischler proposals in the air, and he expects buyers to be much clearer now about this farm, still with a 1m guide price.

With 50,0000 gallons of milk quota and a modern, four-bedroomed bungalow, the 100 acre farm is in two blocks, the largest being 88 acres.

It has a seven-unit milking parlour, four-column slatted house and cubicle houses. Mr Barry says the land is top quality grazing paddocks, with a central farm roadway.

He also has 15 acres two miles from Fermoy, and 16 acres of roadside land at Tallow, Co Waterford for sale.
