Dairy Committee chairman Michael Murphy urged Minister Joe Walsh to reject out of hand the EU Commission's price cut strategy.
Proposals for a 32% cut in butter prices and a 16% cut in skim milk powder prices will result in a 25% milk price cut, he said.
