Record entries for Dublin Horse Show

THE RDS has reported strong entries in the showing classes at this year’s Dublin Horse Show.

Show director, Gerry McAuliffe, said the show includes a record 95 showing and special category classes, both ridden and led, and 34 national jumping competitions for horses and ponies.

“The level of entries is well up to our expectations. We have introduced a new numbering system and programme format for this year’s show,” he said.

Britain, Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy, the US and Ireland are sending full teams to the show, which runs from August 4-8.
