North Cork farm
The 108 acres of pasture land at Conna may have valuable gravel deposits hidden underneath, according to the selling agent.
Let out for the past number of years, the farm is in top class condition, says Mr Buckley, and comes with a good residence and farmyard.
The property is being offered in two lots, as it’s divided naturally by a public road. The first of these is 34 acres in what are described as three excellent fields. The second lot is 74 acres, which includes the farmyard and residence, and is bounded in one part by a stream and a wooded glen, which is the only piece of “waste” on the farm, says Mr Buckley.
Both lots have excellent road frontage, are level and laid out in accessed divisions: the land is all in pasture and about seven acres has recently been reseeded.
The main residence is a large farmhouse, in very good condition, with a large shelter belt boundary, says the agent. The farmyard is adjacent, with a broad range of cubicle houses and sheds, making it a ready-to-go farming enterprise.
The property, which is close to Fermoy on the road to Tallow, has a guide price at €15,000 per acre, or a total of €1.62 million.
