Sponsored by ACCBank, the conference is being run in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh, Co Tipperary, on October 26 and 27. It will be addressed by a distinguished panel of experts, including Mountjoy prison governor John Lonergan, as well as human resources and work organisation consultants, leading farmers and Teagasc specialists.

Conference co-ordinator, Liam Myles explained the choice of a prison governor for the conference, which would centre on workplace communications

“John Lonergan has a wealth of experience in effective communications and his contribution will stimulate farmers, horticulturists, foresters and agri-business managers, not just in dealing with students but in the day-to-day running of their businesses”, said Liam Myles.

Training hosts wishing to attend should contact Teagasc at 01-8459000 or amcdonnell@hq.teagasc.ie
