Lamb prices lost 26p per lb in the past month
The processors knocked a further 14 cents/kg (5p/lb) off the base price for lambs when they re-opened for business on Tuesday following the long holiday week-end to continue the succession of price cuts which have been hitting lamb producers over the past month.
In the marts there was a slight improvement in the trade at Fermoy on Monday where some of the butchers lambs made up to €90/head.
