Royal honour for Queen of the Land Caroline

WHAT a thrill for Caroline Tuite from Enfield, Meath, crowned Queen of the Land during last weekend’s busy programme of events in Tullamore surrounding the Macra glamour title.

Caroline is a teacher who loves all sports, walking, Irish dancing and playing the concertina.

In second place was the local girl Fiona Nevin from Killoughey, Co. Offaly. Fiona is a Student and her interests include badminton, debating, swimming, walking, socialising and Macra.

In third place was Sligo’s Carol Kennedy from Sligo Town.

Carol is another teacher, and she enjoys Macra activities, drama, debating, basketball, swimming, speaking French and teaching English to non-nationals.
