IFA to host national conference

THE IFA will host a major national conference on planning and development and the new draft guidelines to local authorities on rural housing at the City West Hotel in Saggart, Dublin, on Monday.

Environment Minister Martin Cullen will address the conference.

IFA Environment Committee chairman Tom Dunne said the conference will provide an opportunity for rural people and planning professionals to brief themselves on the guidelines and to formulate a response during the consultation period.
