No need for Wicklow auction

No need for Wicklow auction

The land was sold the day before its auction to two interested parties, according to Mr Quinn, and made ‘well in excess of its guide price’, although he wouldn’t disclose the sum involved.

The farm, which would have been auctioned in four lots last Friday, was sold in two lots, with the farmhouse, yard and 50 acres going to an adjoining farmer.
