Bovine and equine breeders honoured

Breeders in the bovine and equine industries will be honoured at the national hall of fame awards in Athlone on Friday night.

The awards will be presented to people who have given their lifetime to breeding, exhibiting and adjudicating.

Athlone Agri-Show Festival, headed by chairman Michael Flanagan, has organised the ceremony. Ten breed societies are taking part in the bovine and four in the equine category.
