Bovine and equine breeders honoured
The awards will be presented to people who have given their lifetime to breeding, exhibiting and adjudicating.
Athlone Agri-Show Festival, headed by chairman Michael Flanagan, has organised the ceremony. Ten breed societies are taking part in the bovine and four in the equine category.
The schedule of classes for Athlone Agri-Show on June 27 will also be launched at the awards. It will have classes for cattle, sheep, horses ponies, donkeys, goats, poultry and vegetables.
