Farm audits for quality scheme

Marts: Independent auditing of Beef Assurance Certified farms is to commence immediately.

The scheme, which has been in operation for a number of years, is being upgraded to operate under the internationally accepted standard EN45011.

Responding to the requirement for the international standard, Bord Bia has revised the Quality Assurance Scheme, the details of which have been circulated to the meat industry in recent weeks.
