Glanbia announces grain prices
It said these prices are subject to its market-based review to March, 2004, which will allow growers to benefit fully from any market uplift during this period. Due to the uncertainty of the outcome of EU policy meetings and the volatility of dried grain markets and volumes, it intends to start the review by early October.
Glanbia, which buys grain in Leinster and east Munster, said it is committed to sourcing 100% of its requirements from Irish producers.
