94-acre, residential holding in tidy block

A VERY attractive location and top quality land make a farm at Boveen, Sharavogue, Co Offaly, a very desirable purchase.

So says auctioneer, Charlie Wallace, who’s also just confirmed the sale of one of the biggest farms to come on the market in Munster this year, Ballyrichard House, near Drangan, Co Tipperary.

The 357-acre tillage farm was sold to a Wexford farmer for €4.1 million, the equivalent of 11,484 per acre and good value at that, the agent says, as it comes in ‘just two fields and not a tree in the place’.
