THE 25,000-member National Association of Regional Game Councils (NARGC) has called on the Government to ring-fence funding for game conservation.

It said it is committed to sustainable game hunting and conservation and is apparently the only body funding such projects around the country.

NARGC director Des Crofton asked why successive Governments have failed to finance game projects from which the country can benefit.
