ICSA candidates announced

The candidates for the ICSA vice-presidential elections, which will take place in Portlaoise on next Wednesday, were announced yesterday.

The term of office is two years with an option to stand for a further two years. In Connacht/Ulster, Donegal national executive members John McDaid and John Barron will be up against John Flynn from Co Leitrim.

In Leinster, outgoing vice-president Joe Kilmartin will be challenged by Offaly farmer Brian Mathews while Tralee farmer Michael Brady stands uncontested in Munster.
