155 jobs expected from Kepak expansion

New exports worth €55m per year and 155 new jobs within three years are expected from the 10m expansion of the Kepak beef procesing plant in Watergrasshill, Co Cork.

The investment in production and marketing of heat and serve meals under the Global Cuisine brand is supported by Enterprise Ireland.

Mike Feeney, executive director of Enterprise Ireland, said: “The prepared food sector is currently experiencing double digit growth and forecasts for future growth remain very positive.
