Teagasc chairman re-appointed

AGRICULTURE and Food Minister Joe Walsh yesterday announced the re-appointment of Dr Tom O’Dwyer as Teagasc chairman.

Mr Walsh also announced the re-appointment of Michael O’Dwyer, an ICOS nominee, and the appointment of Patrick Kelly, the nominee of Macra na Feirme, to the Teagasc Authority.

Mr Kelly replaces Peter Kiely to whom Mr Walsh expressed gratitude for his valuable contribution.
