Glanbia changes at senior level

FOOD giant Glanbia Plc yesterday announced a number of imminent changes to their senior management structure.

Billy Murphy, deputy group managing director, is to retire in June but will remain on the board as a non-executive director for a further two years.

Geoff Meagher, group finance director, will take on the additional role of deputy group managing director in June. Siobhan Talbot, group secretary, will become deputy group finance director.

Jim Bergin, operations director, Food Ingredients Ireland, will take on the full responsibility for that business, including milk assembly, as chief executive officer, with immediate effect.

Michael Horan, group financial controller, will take on the position of group secretary in June.
