Help your elderly neighbours complete forms

FARMERS who have successfully completed their Single Payment application have been urged by Irish Cattle and Sheepfarmers Association president Malcolm Thompson to help elderly neighbours with the forms.
Help your elderly neighbours complete forms

“There are a lot of older farmers in particular who are required to make an area aid application for the first time. Many of these farmers would have applied on less than 15 livestock units during the reference years, and were therefore not obliged to submit an area aid application. Also specialist sheep producers outside the disadvantaged area were not obliged to submit an application. Elderly farmers in particular may not be Teagasc clients and are less likely to attend information meetings.”
