Minister advocates Teagasc options

Ireland: Farm families have been urged by Agriculture and Food Minister Mary Coughlan to contact their local Teagasc adviser with a view to joining its new options programme.

Minister Coughlan said that with the single farm payment firmly in place, farm families were examining their options for the future.

“The Teagasc options for farm families are especially designed to help farmers look at the challenges and the opportunities that will arise in the coming years,” she said.
