Agricultural journalists elect president

The new president of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists is Michael Miley, the former head of public relations at Teagasc.

He succeeds David Markey, the current world president of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists.

Irish Farmers’ Journal news editor Pat O’Keeffe, a native of Ballynoe, Co Cork, was elected chairman of the guild’s southern section.
