THE Irish Draught Horse Society Show at Thurles was an impressive turn-out for a breed officially designated as endangered.

Some 170 horses were entered in 20 classes, and particularly high quality standards were noted in the two-year-old filly, yearling colt, brood mare and loose jumping sections.
