“Talks to resolve this dispute were led by IFA President John Dillon on behalf of the growers involved with O’Kane Poultry/Castlemahon Foods,” said IFA Deputy President Ruaidhri Deasy.

“IFA identified target rolling average margins of 34 cent per bird for April and 36 cent for October 2005, which are necessary for growers to achieve a reasonable standard of living, and reviews are to take place to deliver these target margins to growers,” Mr. Deasy said.
