Goodbye Gallas and don’t forget your dirty linen
NEVER a dull moment is there? Last Monday I had filed my copy only a couple of hours before all hell broke loose when Chelsea released their explosive statement that Gallas had threatened to score an own goal, get sent off, or play badly to try and force the club’s hand over his contractual bickering.

Time to out Lamps - to be frank
MIDDLESBROUGH was a nightmare. Long journey in the driving rain, an absolutely awful performance, heavy-handed policing, we lose, then a long journey home again? I’ve had better nights.

And boy did it show!

“You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you; I picked you out, I shook you up and turned you around, turned you into someone new”

José drops a clanger with team selection

SO WHERE do I start? I am gutted. Even more disappointed than after the Champions League game, because I really wanted the FA Cup, and my desire to see us beat Liverpool was even greater.

Blue is the colour (except on Ashley Cole)

THWARTED by goal difference for the top spot in the Premiership table, but now top of the Champions League group — am I happy? No.

An extraordinary day for the special one

I AM writing this with a desperate hangover, so bear with me. Days before the match against United, I was so nervous, convinced we were going to lose and face the terrifying prospect of doing a ‘Newcastle’.
