This summer, I tested three new travel accessories from Scapade, a brand that’s putting location-tracking tech at the heart of everyday travel gear. The Airpass, Airlock, and Mag Card Pro all support Apple’s Find My network and aim to bring peace of mind, whether you're heading abroad or simply navigating daily life.

Scapade Airpass passport wallet

The Scapade Airpass is made from tough, water-resistant materials and keeps my passport and boarding pass securely in place. But what sets it apart is the built-in Find My support. Who hasn’t panicked the night before a flight while searching for their passport? With this wallet, that worry is a thing of the past.

It fits snugly into a jacket pocket, and the build quality feels premium. My only gripe? The wallet makes the passport slightly bulkier, but that’s a small trade-off for something that could be a lifesaver. The Airpass is a no-brainer — it keeps your passport well protected, and thanks to built-in tracking, you’ll never lose it. It’s now a permanent part of my travel setup. The wallet does need to be charged, but MagSafe support makes the process quick and effortless.

Scapade Airlock

Losing luggage is every traveller’s nightmare. The Airlock, a TSA-compliant combination lock with built-in tracking, helps put that fear to rest. I used it on a recent flight, and it worked like a charm. It’s rugged, easy to attach, and integrates seamlessly with Apple’s Find My. The Airlock also needs to be charged via the USB-C port on the lock, but Scapade says it's good for up to three months on a single charge.

The best part? You can see your suitcase’s last location from your phone, which is particularly useful at baggage claim or during tight layovers. One downside: it’s slightly larger than standard locks and adds a little extra bulk to soft-shell bags. But that’s a small trade-off for the peace of mind it offers.

Scapade Mag Card Pro

The Mag Card Pro is far more useful than Apple’s MagSafe wallet, thanks to the built-in stand function for hands-free viewing. I also found it much easier to remove cards.

It magnetically snaps onto the back of your iPhone and holds three to four cards securely. More importantly, it’s trackable thanks to the Find My support.

Its slim, premium design and rechargeable battery (yes, it needs power for ultra-precise tracking) give it a definite edge over cheaper alternatives.

If you don’t like carrying your wallet on your phone, this might not be for you. And you’ll need to remember to recharge, but Scapade says a full charge should give you nine months. Also, if you like to charge your iPhone wirelessly, you need to detach the wallet first, which can be inconvenient and also increases the risk that you’ll leave it behind you.

Verdict

All three Scapade accessories make a strong case for the future of travel gear: smart, secure, and integrated. Whether you’re planning a city break or a summer escape, they bring convenience and confidence to your journey.
