Landmark Technologies to create five new roles in €1.2m cybersecurity centre upgrade
Landmark Technologies managing director Ken Kelleher said AI-based attacks are on the increase.
Cybersecurity firm Landmark Technologies is to invest €1.2m in its cyber monitoring centre in Dublin, the company announced on Wednesday.
The new roles will be in the company's monitoring centre which is being upgraded to incorporate added artificial intelligence tools and to futureproof the company's operations.
“A growing number of businesses do not have the necessary in-house resources to keep pace with evolving cyber requirements. The coming months will continue to bring new and increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, and we expect to see a particular surge in AI-based attacks," said Landmark managing director Ken Kelleher.
"Our new Cyber Monitoring Centre will provide fully integrated security services to ensure that customers have world-class protection and, in the event of an incident, our technical team will respond 24/7 to ensure business can continue uninterrupted."
Landmark Technologies will also offer cyber awareness training for businesses and their employees.
Founded by Mr Kelleher in 1998, Landmark has provided secure managed services to businesses across cybersecurity, cloud, automation, and IT support.
