Baseus, a brand renowned for simplicity and innovation, claims to redefine the audio experience with its latest offering—the Baseus Bowie MA10 Bluetooth 5.3 Earbuds.

With features like ANC and ENC Noise Cancelling, extended battery life, and gaming capabilities, these earbuds tout a modest price tag of €39.99.

Design and battery endurance

The Bowie MA10 earbuds boast an ergonomic design, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. It includes three sizes (S, M, L) of ear tips and wingtips, adding a layer of customisation.

The buds come with an IPX6 rating for sweat and water resistance. I found the buds comfortable with a secure fit making them suitable for exercising.

The charging case is large and not all that pocketable, but there’s a good reason for this.

The Bowie MA10 has exceptional battery life, boasting a whopping 140 hours on a full charge of the case. A single charge of the buds provides eight hours of playback.

With Baseus rapid charge, a brief 10-minute gives an additional two hours. The complete charging cycle requires a mere three hours. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t support wireless charging at this price point.

Sound Quality

With Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology promising a remarkable -48dB depth, the Bowie MA10 aims to create a sonic sanctuary for users. While the ANC isn’t as good as the Bose QC Ultra earbuds, it's impressive and better than many others I’ve tested that were more than twice the price.

However, the transparency mode is terrible and far from what the AirPods Pro offers.

The larger driver and titanium-plated diaphragm claim to elevate audio quality. Overall, they sound much better than the price would suggest, but the bass is a little overpowering, the mids are warm, and the highs aren’t as clear as you’d get from more expensive earbuds.

Connectivity

It’s good to see support for Bluetooth 5.3 and Baseus' Dual Channel Low-Latency (DCLL) technology for gaming.

Baseus' smart connection technology lets you easily connect to two devices simultaneously and switch between them without the hassle of pairing.

Verdict

The Baseus Bowie MA10 Bluetooth 5.3 earbuds are relatively inexpensive and offer excellent value for money with good ANC, exceptional battery life and decent sound quality.
