Device created to help dogs call their owners could ease pet separation anxiety
DogPhone is the result of a collaboration between Dr Ilyena Hirskyj-Douglas, of the University of Glasgow, and her 10-year-old labrador, Zack, along with colleagues from Aalto University in Finland (University of Glasgow)
A device has been created to allow dogs to video call their owners.
The system, dubbed DogPhone, works when a pet picks up and shakes a ball fitted with an accelerometer.
