ODTR calls for submissions on broadband report

The Telecom Regulator, Etain Doyle, has called on interested parties to submit views on a recently published report, "The Future Delivery of Broadband in Ireland".

The report, which is available at http:///www.odtr.ie/docs/odtr0279.doc was the result of an independent study into the current demand for Internet and broadband services within the country and the costs and technical issues involved in a massive roll out of broadband services.

Doyle is especially interested in responses to questions posed in the concluding chapter of the report.

Responses can be submitted until 5pm on Friday, October 25.
