The assets of music file-sharing service Napster Inc. have gone up for auction with an asking price of $25m (€25.6m).

The assets of music file-sharing service Napster Inc. have gone up for auction with an asking price of $25m (€25.6m).

The assets have been on sale since Friday, and the bid deadline is August 21.

Trenwith Securities, a Costa Mesa-based securities firm, was hired by Napster’s creditors to help generate interest between now and the deadline.
