Gameband launches smartwatch for gamers
The Gameband smartwatch from FMTwo Game Inc. is the world’s first “fully dedicated gaming smartwatch" and has been "optimized for on-the-go-gameplay."
Featuring a 1.63-inch AMOLED display, the Gameband utilises a gaming app called PixelFurnace that allows users to download and play classic Atari games like Pong and Asteroids on the device's display.
The device also features a microSD slot with up to 256 GB of storage and standard smartwatch applications such as a calendar, contacts, fitness tracker, alarm and more.
Gameband starts at $99 on Kickstarter, and has so far received $30,323 out of a $75,000 goal from backers.
