Gameband launches smartwatch for gamers

A new Kickstarter launched today aims at providing gamers with their very own wearable gaming device – the Gameband smartwatch.

The Gameband smartwatch from FMTwo Game Inc. is the world’s first “fully dedicated gaming smartwatch" and has been "optimized for on-the-go-gameplay."

Featuring a 1.63-inch AMOLED display, the Gameband utilises a gaming app called PixelFurnace that allows users to download and play classic Atari games like Pong and Asteroids on the device's display.
