Facebook launches Discover Friends tool

Facebook is rolling out a new tool designed to help users make new friends, as noted in an article from TechCrunch.

Similar to the profile suggestion features found on Twitter and LinkedIn, Facebook’s Discover Friends suggests profiles based on things users have in common, such as living in the same city or belonging to the same Facebook groups.

The Discover Friends tool is located in the ‘More’ tab on the Facebook mobile app, and tapping on the tool will bring up a selection of profiles users can swipe through to connect.
