Sony to unveil new Xperia at MWC

Sony will unveil its latest Xperia flagship smartphone on Feb 27 at this year’s Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, according to a report from The Indian Express.

The device, currently code-named ‘Yoshino’, is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 835 processor plus a 5.5-inch 4K display and Sony’s IMX400 image sensor.

The report also suggests that Sony may reveal another premium smartphone at the event, one which will feature either the Snapdragon 835 or the Snapdragon 635 chipset.

It is also expected to use the same camera sensor as the ‘Yoshino’ model, but without the 4K display and instead will feature a smaller 5.-inch WQHD display.
