Nintendo’s third video game for smartphones, the mobile version of Animal Crossing, will be delayed until sometime during the next financial year, as reported by The Verge.

Nintendo had intended to release the game sometime before April, which is when this financial year ends, but for as-yet-unknown reasons has decided to delay the release for now.

The company announced the delay alongside its third-quarter earnings, which revealed that Pokemon Sun and Moon was Nintendo’s biggest sales driver for the quarter.

It is not known for how long Nintendo intends to delay the release of Animal Crossing; the next financial year starts April 2017 and ends March 2018.
