Samsung to reveal cause of Note 7 fires on Monday

Samsung is holding a press conference on Monday to reveal what caused a number of Galaxy Note 7 smartphones to catch fire

Samsung will hold a press conference at 10am Monday morning (local time) in Seoul, Korea, to ‘announce the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 incidents and quality enhancement plan’, as noted by the Samsung Newsroom.

The press conference comes after months of investigations as to why a number of the Galaxy Note 7 models caught fire. As highlighted in a previous piece, it is expected that the Galaxy Note 7’s battery will be identified as the cause.
