Walking Dead Fans Will Love The Newest Star Trek Discovery Casting

Star Trek Discovery has found its new lead according to Variety, and it is Sonequa Martin-Green, who many will know as Sasha Williams from the Walking Dead.

Sonequa will be the lead in the show but however will not play the captain of the ship, which gives us an idea the direction in which the new series is going.

That being not the same traditional route the other Star Trek shows have followed with the captain being the fulcrum around which the show swings.
