Own an Android? You could have been hacked already

Your google accounts may have already been compromised after a malware known as ‘Gooligan’ has infected over one million phones, roughly 9% of which are in Europe.

The malware gets in through downloading apps for android from elsewhere other than the google play store.

The malware steals authentication tokens from users and even downloads adware apps to the smartphone, highly rates them and generates profit from these apps, reportedly northwards of $320,000 a month.
