New Emerald City TV show looks totally insane

The story of The Wizard of Oz has been adapted more times than we can count, but we're actually pretty excited for this new take.

Emerald City is coming to NBC in January 2017 and sure it has the elements you expect but the main reason we're so into it is down to director Tarsem Singh. He's one of the most visually incredible filmmakers out there, with work like The Cell and The Fall and while his big screen work has been a little less interesting recently this trailer looks incredible.
