Apple event confirmed for October 27th- new Macs incoming?

The rumours have been circulating for awhile that Apple will have new products to share before the end of October, and that's just been made official.

An event will be held at their Cupertino base on on Thursday October 27th 2016. The invite to it has been posted online and you can see it over here. The text reads 'Hello Again.'

It is said that this will be a rather small scale affair by Apple's standards, but plenty of new information should be included. Early leaks suggest new MacBook Airs and the death of the 11 inch model as well as a long awaited refresh for the MacBook Pro including a new OLED touch panel which sounds very neat and the loss of regular USB ports which is rather less neat.
