Rick and Morty maker has a crazy free VR game
For my sins I have only recently discovered the insane joys of Rick and Morty thanks to the first series landing on Netflix. It's just pure nutiness, with some seriously mean spirited humour and the odd touches of heart. In short its great and you should be watching it now.
And that makes this news all the more exciting as Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Rolland has just released his first ever VR game. It comes from his studio Squanchtendo (a reference I get!) and it's called Accounting.
Naturally that name is a bit misleading...
It's some kind of game where you play an accountant, only in this version of the world accountancy is very different and kind of dangerous and also features a lot of cursing. Though that's true of our version of the job as well.
This game looks crazy and is bound to be even more overwhelming in VR. There's good news in that regard as its entirely free on Steam right now- but it only works on the HTC Vive which you probably don't have unless you a PC nut with a lot of money.
Hopefully we'll see a lot more from Squanchtendo in the future.
