Keanu Reeves has been in his fair share of action films but stepped back up to the plate with John Wick a few years back. Now he's taking on the role again for the sequel, and we can't wait to see what's in store.

The 52 year old Canadian actor has long been feted as a master of the technical side of action filmmaking, taking on the vast majority of his own stunts and putting in serious time to get the movements right in movies like The Matrix. And he's taking that to a whole new level for John Wick Chapter 2.

Check out this video for a look at some of the gun training the man has been doing, including working with a new kind of concealed holster which is going to come in handy as he takes on massed ranks of criminals in Italy.

The best part of this video is that it isn't just a flawless run through of a completed move, you get to see the actor starting out and learning and improving, all while really sweating each tiny technical element. It's a testament to what he'll go through for a modestly budgeted feature and that's what makes him one of the most interesting actors working today.

John Wick Chapter 2 is out in February 2017.
