Star Citizen stuff delayed again

Star Citizen isn't coming out any time soon, and it must be getting pretty frustrating for fans who have sunk many dollars into the massive budget of the game so far.

Star Citizen stuff delayed again

There was some hope that the single player element could launch sooner, with a 2016 release date long mooted, but that has now also crumbled. At CitizenCon lead man Chris Roberts confirmed that the Squadron 42 element won't arrive this year.

Eurogamer reports that the 60 or so missions have all been laid out but as of right now not a single one has been finalised and polished to the level where Roberts and co were happy to show it off. Considering the amount of content which is promised, including a mammoth script performed by the likes of Gillian Anderson and Gary Oldman, it sounds like this part of the game won't be ready for many months yet.

Another disappointment for Star Citizen fans who are waiting to really see the finished product. Maybe next year...
